Use this formulator to create your own DIY chicken feed recipe to plan (and hopefully reduce!) your monthly chicken feed cost.
For each ingredient you want to use, enter:
- Bags per month
- Pounds per bag
- Price per bag
The page will automatically update to tell you:
- How much protein is in your recipe (laying chickens need at least 16%)
- How much your recipe will cost for the month and the cost per pound
- How many chickens you can feed with your recipe
- How many pounds to feed of each ingredient each day
Organic and Non-GMO complete feeds are listed as a price comparison and you can edit any ingredient to match what is available to you.
