Violet’s Twin Ewes
Violet is our most outgoing ewe. She is our only ewe who doesn’t shy away from people she doesn’t know, as long as they are with us. Did you know sheep can recognize up to 50 faces? Violet birthed her twin ewes unassisted and has been a patient and attentive mama.
Violet’s twin ewes were born March 23, so the earliest weaning date is May 23. Lambs may continue to nurse up to 3-4 months of age if not weaned. Both ewe lambs are naturally reared on pasture with natural minerals and vitamins and have intact tails. We’d prefer to sell them as a bonded pair! Asking $1600 for both. We can registered with OEB if desired (permanent ear tags required for OEB). Pedigree available upon request.
Lavender’s Ram Lamb
Lavender is one of our founding flock members and an excellent mother. We have successfully grafted orphan lambs on to her twice for her to raise. Lavender lambed without assistance and has been a very attentive mother, calling to her lamb before he even calls out to her whenever separated. Lavender is one of our most calm ewes and is friendly with our family members and loves to be petted and rubbed, especially on her chest. She still wags her tail like a lamb when rubbed on her chest.
We think her current ram lamb would make an excellent flock sire as he is calm and slightly reserved and and we expect him to grow up with a temperament that would be desirable in a ram. He was born March 28, so the earliest weaning date is May 28. Lambs may continue to nurse up to 3-4 months of age if not weaned. Sage’s Ram Lamb
Sage is one of our smallest ewes and was the first to lamb this year. Despite Sage being one of our youngest ewes, she has stepped up to being a leader in the flock and her ram lamb has the same adventurous leader personality. He also has the perfect Babydoll smiley face and would make an excellent flock sire for ewes who are prone to wool blindness as both of his parents have balanced faces, not too open or too wooly. He was born March 13, so the earliest weaning date is May 13. Lambs may continue to nurse up to 3-4 months of age if not weaned. He is being naturally reared on pasture with natural minerals and vitamins and has an intact tail. Asking $550. We can registered with OEB if desired (permanent ear tag required for OEB). One Year Old Proven Ram
Dandy
Dandy is a one year old white Babydoll ram. He successfully bred all four of our ewes that were exposed to him last year. He’s registered with OEB, pedigree available upon request. Gets along well with other rams and livestock guardian dogs. Asking $550.
